2021-22 Registration

NDLAC Registrations for the 2021-22 season will open Monday 11 October 2021.

Season start dates are still to be confirmed, but we are currently planning on starting the season as soon as NSW Health and Government requirements allow.

Welcome to 2021-22 registration for Northern Districts Little Athletics Centre. Please register and pay ONLINE following ALL the steps below. Once you have registered online a registration pack including your registration number, age patch, sponsor patch, etc… will be made up for you and ready for collection on our first season meets, commencing with a Friday Twilight Program, date to be confirmed. Or if you can’t make it on a Friday night, then on one of our Saturday meets (date to be confirmed).

Before you can collect your registration pack you must have PAID in full. You must also provide the required forms detailed below.

Season fees

Fees for this season are listed below, our fees have increased this season due to an increase to LA NSW Registration Fee.  These are our Early Bird rates and apply to registrations processed PRIOR to our first competition date.  There will be a further $5 increase per athlete (except for Tiny Tots) once our season commences.

First athlete       – $155 (Early bird)
Second and subsequent athletes  – $145 (Early bird)

Tiny Tots  – $80

We accept Active Kids Rebate vouchers, THESE CAN REDUCE FEES BY $100 PER ATHLETE! so have your voucher code handy.  You will need it when you get to the Little Athletics NSW site.  If you haven’t already registered for your active Kids rebate, click on the link below to go to the Service NSW website to apply: https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher

Age Group

Little Athletics age groups are based on the age of the athlete at the end of December. For new athletes, Proof of Age is required to be sighted by the Registrar when you pick up your pack (Birth Certificate or passport).

Athletes in the U12-17 Age Groups are also offered dual membership with an Athletics NSW senior club (see below for more information).

Register online

Registration is online via the link below. This is a unique link for Northern Districts. Please ensure you are registering at NORTHERN DISTRICTS – MT COLAH as your Centre.  For returning athletes, please note LA NSW are using a new registration platform, so you are required to enter all details.  This information will be available in subsequent years.

All registration payments must be made online for your registration to be activated. Once you have registered, you will be emailed a Receipt. You must present this receipt to pick up your Registration Pack.

New athletes and athletes registering at Northern Districts for the first time are required to show Proof of Age (original birth certificate or passport) when you pick up your pack to verify ages.

U12 – U17s – Dual Athletes 

    • For all those in the U12 – U17 age groups with Little Athletics, Dual Registration gives you entry into Senior Athletics where competitions take place mainly over weekends, usually on synthetic tracks and with official timing etc. There are also State Championships that can lead to National Championships. For more information please see the ANSW website
    • ANSW will require Dual athletes to individually activate or renew their ANSW Dual membership via the ANSW membership platform. ANSW will send very clear communications to all Dual athletes regarding this process along with the ANSW Membership Go Live date (date TBC).
    • Northern Districts are currently in discussion with NSW Athletics to set up a “Senior Club”.  If you’re interested in joining our Seniors please email ndlac@ndlac.org.au and we will keep you up to date with developments. If our Senior club does not proceed this season, you can join in at Hornsby Seniors, where a number of our current NDLAC athletes also compete.
    • In addition to the LANSW bibs, Dual athletes will be allocated ANSW bibs for use in ANSW Competitions.

Bring your completed forms to Foxglove Oval on our Registration Pack pick up day (date to be advised)

Once you have registered and paid online, bring your Proof of age (if a new athlete) and completed paperwork to one of our Saturday morning meets and pick up your pack. Don’t forget your receipt.

  • Proof of age (for new athletes), Birth Certificate or Passport required

Free Trial Period

Little athletes are welcome to enjoy a two-week free trial at of our competition meets commencing in November 2021. Trial membership is only open to athletes who have not previously been a member of a Little Athletics Club.  If the athlete wishes to compete on a subsequent week, he or she must join the Centre and become a registered and paid-up athlete.

To trial at Northern Districts, please come to the red Coles Tent prior to the commencement of the meet, to hand in completed Trial Athlete form. Completion of this form is essential prior to participating in Little Athletics to ensure that the athlete is covered by our insurance policy.
