NDLAC CHAMPIONSHIPS PROGRAM 2025/26
FOR ALL NDLAC ATHLETES – GET READY TO SHINE!
Events Calendar – Athletics NSW (nswathletics.org.au)
Our Champs Program is for athletes who want to challenge themselves in competitive Little
Athletics! This includes individual and team events across Zone, Regional, and State
competitions, and also provides additional opportunities to compete outside regular club
meets. Unlike school carnivals, athletes can self-nominate for the following events across the
season. These are all-athlete events, meaning every NDLAC member in the relevant age
group is welcome to compete, regardless of prior selection or experience.
NSW State Relay Championships (Blacktown Sports Park – 8-12s: 8-9 November; 13-17s: 14-16
November 2025): Two weekends of exciting team relay action, where athletes team up with
clubmates in age-group relays, both track and field. Opportunities to compete in runs, jumps, or
throws.
North East Met Zone Championships (Blacktown Sports Park – 21-23 November 2025): More details below.
NSW State Combined Carnival (Maitland – 28 February-1 March 2026): Open to all athletes, this is
an opportunity to compete in a two-day multi-event competition in track and field. These carnivals
bring together competitors from across the state for a full weekend of high-level competition,
personal achievement, and lots of fun!
We encourage you to come and chat with us about these events—we’re happy to answer
questions and provide information. Keep an eye on your email for further updates and
details about upcoming Champs events.Let’s make 2025/26 our biggest year at NDLAC

Click “how to guide” here if you are having difficulty enrolling.
Entry Deadlines- ALL entries must be submitted by 11:59pm,Saturday 8th November 2025
Parent/ Family Assistance
Family support is vital to making Zone Championships a success! Every family will be required to assist with an event for a 2 hour block over the weekend. Please remember no one is exempt and while you are helping run an event for kids you don’t know, there are other parents helping yours to compete.
- No experience needed; duties are simple (similar to at Club) and guidance from key officials will be provided on the day.
- Key officials are also required and these duties count as family assistance block- please see Cheryl or Champs team if you are keen to officiate!
- If families do not sign up to a duty themselves, they will be allocated a duty. Please note that athlete entries will not be verified until family duty sign-up completed.

Your help ensures a smooth and fun carnival for all athletes!

The State Combined Carnival is held at a regional venue. The points across all events conducted for each age group are added together to determine final results.
