Training

Training will be lead by one of our fantastic centre coaches for ages 6s-13s. Training / coaching will be 1.5 hours in total, with a combintion of different events offered each week.

Training will be offered each week with a rotation of events. See the below document for schedule:

Weekly Coach’s Awards can be earned for top training effort in each age group!

Age Group
6’s & 7’s 8’s, 9’s & 10’s 11’s, 12’s & 13’s
5:30-6pm Junior Training Long Jump
6-6:30pm Junior Training Discus Long Jump
6:30-7pm Spring Discus
7-7:30pm Sprint
Athletes need not wear their NDLAC uniforms. Comfortable clothes and enclosed footwear for running, jumping and throwing are all that you need, plus plenty of energy and a willingness to learn and have some fun! As always, bring along a drink and a hat for the earlier sessions in particular, and keep an eye out for any wet weather announcements via our NDLAC socials pages.

Additional Training Sessions

Additional training for Centre Squads (such as Relay teams) will be provided on an ‘as-needed’ basis.
